Nope Scope does not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal information — from children or anyone else.
This policy applies to both game modes. It is written so a parent can read it in a couple of minutes.

Nope Scope runs entirely on your device. There is no server, no backend, no third-party analytics or advertising SDK, and nothing that transmits data off the device. In both app stores’ privacy sections, our answer to every data category is “Data Not Collected.”
The data the app creates stays only on your device (stored with the device’s local app storage — Capacitor Preferences):

Coins in Guardian Squad are earned only by playing. They cannot be bought, and nothing in the app costs real money.
No. There is no analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, or tracking SDK of any kind in the app, and no advertising identifier is requested.
No. The app makes no network requests at runtime — it does not load fonts, images, scripts, ads, or any other resources from the internet. Everything is bundled with the install.
You can verify this yourself: turn on Airplane Mode and launch the app. It works exactly the same.
No advertising of any kind, ever. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no links to purchase anything. Nope Scope is a one-time paid app; the only transaction is your purchase through the App Store or Google Play, which Apple or Google process under their own privacy policies.
No. There is no chat, no messaging, no friend list, no leaderboard, no user-generated content, and no way for users to communicate with each other through the app.
The app contains exactly three external links, all in the grown-ups/settings area:
Every one of these sits behind a parental gate — a multiplication problem an adult must solve, which regenerates on each attempt and locks for 30 seconds after three wrong answers. The gate cannot be turned off. When a link is opened, it opens in the device’s web browser, outside the app. The app itself still sends no data; standard web browsing rules apply once you are in the browser.

Because there are no accounts and no server, there is nothing to delete on our side — no backups, no profiles, no records. Deletion on the device is deletion everywhere.
Nope Scope is designed for children, and our approach to children’s privacy is simple: we collect nothing. Because the app collects, stores (off-device), and transmits no personal information from any user of any age, we meet the requirements of the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) — there is no personal information from children to collect, so no parental consent for data collection is required; the EU GDPR and its provisions for children (GDPR-K) — we process no personal data; the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Children’s Code) — data minimisation is absolute, defaults are maximally private, and there is no profiling, tracking, or nudging; the California Consumer Privacy Act and Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) — we collect, sell, and share no personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of or request; Canada’s PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25 — no personal information is collected or communicated; the Australian Privacy Act — we hold no personal information; and Brazil’s LGPD — no personal data is processed. If we change this policy in any meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version at the same URL (https://mbttt-9c34e.web.app/privacy). We will not retroactively change what we collect. (Currently: nothing.)
