Nope Scope is a paid educational safety game for children, published by MBTTT — My Body Tells the Truth, a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to child safety education. The app contains two game modes that share one MBTTT safety curriculum:
By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please request a refund through the App Store or Google Play and uninstall the app.
Nope Scope is designed for children ages 6–11, with parents and legal guardians as the intended purchasers. The app teaches body-safety and abuse-prevention topics (private parts rules, uncomfortable secrets, trusted adults) in age-appropriate, non-graphic language, and is best explored alongside a trusted adult.
Nope Scope is a one-time purchase of $4.99 USD made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising, and nothing inside the app costs real money. In-game coins in Guardian Squad are earned only by playing.
Your purchase is processed by Apple or Google under their own terms of sale. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google through their respective stores, per each store’s refund policy — we do not process payments or refunds directly. Where the stores offer family purchase sharing (for example Apple Family Sharing), availability follows your store’s settings and terms.
Nope Scope teaches general child-safety concepts — stranger awareness, online safety, body safety and boundaries, emergency response, home safety, feelings and confidence, kindness and anti-bullying, and safe spaces — through quiz gameplay. The content is authored by MBTTT and drawn from its nonprofit safety workshops.
The app is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for parental guidance, professional advice, school safety programs, or conversations with trusted adults, and we do not guarantee any particular learning or safety outcome.
In a real emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Do not rely on a game.
The app’s emergency-response content teaches United States emergency practices (calling 911), and the app is sold in the United States. If you use the app outside the US, be aware that emergency numbers and procedures differ.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Nope Scope on devices you own or control, as permitted by the app store from which you obtained it. You may not:
External links in the app (MBTTT website, support page, privacy policy) and the progress-reset function sit behind a parental gate intended for adults. Please do not help children bypass it.
Nope Scope collects no personal information from anyone. See our Privacy Policy at https://mbttt-9c34e.web.app/privacy for the full details.
We may release updates that change, add, or remove features. We will not retroactively reduce paid-for content already in the app.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make a great, safe product, but we cannot promise it will always work perfectly on every device.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, MBTTT is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
We may update these terms. The effective date above always reflects the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
